"Magic Menma" — "Majimen" for short — is an achar (Indian-style pickle) that pairs perfectly with our Spicy Mapo Tofu.
More and more customers have been ordering Magic Menma as a topping for our Spicy Mapo Tofu and curry, and we're delighted that people are enjoying this combination!
Magic Menma is an achar made from menma (seasoned bamboo shoots).
It goes naturally with curry as a side, and as a topping on mapo tofu it lets you shift from Chinese flavors to spice-curry flavors midway through the meal. It works so well because it's paired with Mapo-tei's Spicy Mapo Tofu.
First-time customers are always surprised and delighted by how good it tastes.
